Sports Director of Fortuna Düsseldorf Uwe Klein has lauded Ghanaian defender Kevin Danso ahead of his league debut against Hamburger SV.
On Friday, Fortuna Düsseldorf is scheduled to play Hamburger SV in the 2020/21 Bundesliga 2.
Danso in their game against FC Ingolstadt couldn’t fixture due to fitness level but is finally ready to make his debut for Fortuna.
Uwe Rösler is delighted to have a strong team and is expected to line-up with his best team in a bid to record a first victory on the opening weekend of the new league season.
“We are sure that he can play a very important role in our defense headquarters. Kevin has everything a modern central defender needs,” said sports director Uwe Klei as quoted by hamburg.de.
Danso joined Düsseldorf on a season-long loan deal from Augsburg this summer.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at English Premier League side Southampton where he made ten appearances in all competitions and provided one assist.
