Veteran Ghanaian trainer Bashiru Hayford has snubbed Ghana Football Association big position for Asante Kotoko Technical Directorate and Youth Coach job.
The Ghana Premier League powerhouse having formed a nine member Board of Directors are set to appoint a new Technical Director and also restructure the youth team with an experienced trainer.
Seeing Asante Kotoko trying to restructure the club, former Black Queens Coach Bashiru Hayford has eyed the position of a Technical Directorate and a Youth team coach.
In an interview with Kumasi based Ashh Fm, the Ghanaian revealed that he will be the First coach to apply for Kotoko Technical Directorate and Youth Coach Job when the door is opened.
Already, the former Somalia National team has applied for the vacant GFA Technical Directorate job and is expected to face the panel for an interview.
“I will be the first coach to apply for Kotoko technical directorate role and the youth team job” Bashiru told Ashh FM.
Asante Kotoko are yet to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer for the club before any other positions after relieving all the management members off their position.
