Ex- Ghana U20 defender Daniel Opare has completed a move to Austrian Bundesliga club.
The club SV Zulte Waregem has officially announced his signing after both parties had ended negotiations.
Opare joined the Austrian Bundesliga club on a free transfer.
He joined the Green and Red lads on a two-year deal following the expiration of his contract with Belgian club Royal Antwerp.
“I played against Zulte Waregem a few times and it is a strong team with a lot of ambition, Daniel Opare told the club’s official TV station Essevee TV.
“In addition, the great support from the supporters is added. I can’t wait to start the season”
Opare previously featured for Standard Leige, FC Porto, Besiktas, RC Lens, FC Augsburg and Real Madrid castilla.
He was a member of the Black Satellites squad that won the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Egypt.
Opare capped 20 times for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
