Former CEO of Berekum Chelsea and Bofoakwa Tano, Ernest Osei Boateng has declared his support for the 18-clubs National Division One League.
Leadership of the Ghana Football Association is set to form a three member committee to prong on the reduction of Division One League clubs from 48 to 18 teams.
Ex-Mighty Royals Boss Ernest said he is in support of the idea of the reduction of the 48-clubs to 18 club National league.
“The 18 clubs league is a very good idea and it will help the clubs to sell their players good prices”
“If we start playing the national division one league, it will help us to get the serious club to participate in the league” he spoke to Ark FM in sunyani.
“In zone one we have been getting some clubs that will play half of the season,they will start the season and stop playing in the middle of the season”
“This will not happen if we play the national division one league”
Osei Boateng said he is going to return into the game after his exit from B.A United and hoping to buy his own club.
