Outgoing Ghana Football Association Technical Director, Francis Oti Akenteng believe he did marvelously well leading the Association’s technical directions.
Oti Akenteng who is expected to vacate his position as the GFA Technical Director at the end of March, had the nod to serve in the capacity above more than a decade. He was appointed to the role following his explicit performance with Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
Oti Akenteng under his tenure, received alot of criticism especially with the senior national male team, failing to help the Black Stars flourish. However, he believes he did a good job as the Ghana Football Association Technical Director.
“I’ve done my best for the countrys’ football. After fourteen years,I have no intentions of reapplying for the position”I believe there are certain things I can do after this position”
“I pray the leadership of the GFA will furnish the department with enough hands to help the new technical director in executing his duties effectively”, he told Kumasi FM.
He added that; “I was working with my own car without no fund from the GFA for maintenance”The new department must not be the same, there should be a branded car for the department”

The GFA has opened up for interested applicants to apply for the Position of GFA Technical Director.
