Nkoranza Warriors SC defensive midfielder Emmanuel Sarkodie has won his 4th Man of The Match (MoTM) accolade of the season.
The skipper for the Division One League side, exhibited massive maturity at the center of their game against former Premier League side Berekum Arsenals FC. The Possible Believers’ played as host to the Berekum based Lower Division side.
The homers won 2-1 at the Nkoranza Children’s park in mid-week fixture. Sensational forward, Isaac Mensah opened the scores before recess to put his side on the lead.
Berekum Arsenals equalized after an hour and ten minutes into the game, to level scores.
Sarkodie, with vase comfort operating as a holding Midfielder having shown class among his peers in the middle, crown it all with a Stupendous freekick to win the maximum three points for the Green and Yellow lads in the die embers of the game.
He was adjudged the Most Valuable Player when his side battled Techiman City in an away game and continued to win against Real Tamale United (R.T.U) and Bofoakwa Tano in Sunyani.
Previously, Sarkodie won Man of The Match(MoTM) against Techiman City, Real Tamale United (R.T.U) and Tano Bofoakwa in match day 2, 3 and 4.
The only player to win the award consecutively.
The talented Midfielder whom previously played as an attacking midfielder could not do it better in their tough game against Berekum Arsenals than to win the Most Valuable Player.
His side makes a trip to Wa over the weekend for match day 6 of the 2019/20 Division One League, against Wa Suntaaa.
