Ashanti Gold SC classy defender Tijani Joshua has rejected a new contract extension offer from the Obuadi outfit,reports.
It has emerged that the left-back has rejected a new contract extension after a meeting with the management of the Obuasi based club. Source revealed that, both parties meet today (Tuesday) at the club secretariat, but could not reached an agreement.
The 27-year-old left-back played an instrumental role in the Miners mission to Africa during the NC Special Competitions.
It’s however possible he could leave the side to join a new club outside the country.
Tijani Joshua joined Ashanti Gold from fellow Premier League side Wa All Stars in July 2013 and since then has become an important figure for the Miners who are preparing for the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
