Exclusive: Rev. Owusu Bempah denies Black Stars Prophecy



The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Owusu Bempah has denied claims of Prophesying against the Black Stars over their African Cup of Nations campaign.

The tagged ‘Nation Prophet’ in a video at his church premises disclosed ahead of Ghana’s clash against Tunisia in the round of 16 of the 2019 AFCON, that the Black Stars would score. However, the game will proceed to extra time which both teams will fail to score, asuch will result to spot kicks.

Part of the game that he doesn’t wish for, because they (Black Stars) will miss one of the spot kicks.

The said encounter, which was played at the Ismailia stadium ended 5-4 on penalties after Ghana had leveled the scores 1-1, courtesy an own goal.

Debutant Caleb Ekuban had his kick saved to deny Ghana the quarter finals place.

Days after the exit of the Black Stars, section of the media and sports fanatics has charged the Founder of the Glorious Word Ministry International over prophesying against the national team. Asuch Ghana’s trophy chase continues.

“I never said, Ghana will win the African Cup of Nations in Egypt” Neither did I say Ghana will miss a penalty against Tunisia in the round of 16″.

“What I said was Ghana will score a goal but they will play penalties”And that is not what I want because they will miss one”.

Ghana over 37-years has failed to win the African Cup of Nations.Despite playing in six semi finals of the tournament.

The wait for the major trophy continues for the four times African Champions.
