The Senior Male National team of Ghana, the Black Stars will on Sunday June 9, take on Namibia in their first
international friendly game as a preparatory one ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Coach Kwesi Appiah with his team are currently in Abu Dhabi, having series of training ahead of the tournament slated for June 21- July 17.
Provisional squad of 29, where invited to camp. As at now, all the players have reported to camp. However, Saint Gallen star Musah Nuhu has unfortunately been ruled out of the tournament after picking an injury in camp on Wednesday during training.
Coach Appiah is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the tournament after the friendly as they plan to win the trophy in Egypt.
The Black Stars will take on South Africa in their second friendly game to be played four days later.
The Black Stars will then open their campaign of the tournament against Benin on June 25, 2019 at the Ismaili Sports Stadium.
